One LIKEaBIKe for every 5 children present on the play yard at one time. Examples: 30 children at recess, get 6. 40 children at one time, get 8.
Example 1: Fleet of 21 LIKEaBIKEs for a Kindergarten through second grade program with 40-60 children per grade level.
Be sure to consider air pump(s), helmets, storage shed.
1) Children will learn the muscle memory needed to balance a pedal bike. (gross motor, vestibular)
2) Children will develop confidence to try riding a pedal bike. (emotional)

4) Children will learn to solve problems that arise while biking. (cognitive)
1) Inflate the tires every 2 months. Rubber is porous, tires with inner tubes loose air over time. If the tires are run at too low air pressure, the sidewalls of the tires will deteriorate and the tires will eventually need to be replaced.
2) Unless the play yard has thorny trees, your program will likely never see flat tires.
3) Check the handle grips for broken ends.
